Clean Spills Immediately
Wipe spills as soon as they occur to prevent potential damage. Substances left too long can cause staining or harm the surface.
Use the Right Cleaning Products
Recommended Cleaners
Warm soapy water or CIF General Purpose (recommended by leading quartz brands).
Avoid
Off-the-shelf worktop cleaners that can leave streaks or build-up, as well as harsh chemicals like caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, paint stripper, or bleach.
For Stains
Use CIF Cream (White Bottle) and gently scrub in circular motions. If needed, follow up with Astonish Oven Cleaner for persistent stains, but use carefully as these products can be abrasive. Finish by cleaning with CIF General Purpose to remove residue.
Use a Non-Abrasive Cloth
Choose micro-fiber cloths over regular dishcloths. Use one wet cloth for cleaning and a second dry one for buffing. Glass or polishing e-cloths work best for shiny surfaces, leaving no streaks or watermarks.
Protect Against Heat
Avoid placing hot pots or pans directly on the quartz surface. Quartz has a melting point of approximately 80°C, and exposure to high heat can burn, crack, or cause thermal shock. Always use trivets or heat-resistant mats.

Natural Absorption
Natural stone is porous and can absorb liquids if spills are left unattended.
Before leaving our factory, all natural stone surfaces are treated with an impregnating sealer, STAIN-PROOF ORIGINAL, to reduce absorption and give you more time to clean up spills.
Re-Sealing: Reapply the sealer annually or when you notice discoloration after a water spill.
Immediate Spill Cleanup
Always wipe spills immediately to prevent deep stains.
The longer a substance sits, the harder it is to remove.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Never use strong chemicals, acids, bleach, or products containing these on natural stone.
Marble is especially sensitive to acids, including those found in foods like lemon or orange juice. Avoid contact with acidic substances.

Porcelain and sintered stone are ultra-compact, low-porosity materials designed to offer excellent resistance to staining, heat, and household chemicals. Their dense structure makes them highly hygienic and suitable for kitchen worktops and interior surfaces when correctly fabricated, installed, and maintained.
Below is a simple guide to help keep your surfaces looking their best.
Key Maintenance Points
Virtually Zero Porosity
Porcelain and sintered stone surfaces have virtually zero liquid absorption, meaning they do not require sealing and are highly resistant to everyday spills. However, prompt cleaning is still recommended to preserve the cosmetic appearance of the surface.
Immediate Spill Cleanup
Wipe spills as soon as possible.
Although absorption is minimal, allowing substances to dry on the surface can make cleaning more difficult and may leave residues or marks.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Do not use aggressive acids, caustic products, or industrial cleaners.
Avoid paint strippers, drain cleaners, and highly alkaline products.
If bleach or solvents are used, they must be diluted and rinsed away immediately.

Cleaning a Matt Surface
Initial Cleaning
Use a dishwashing brush (like the ones used for cleaning dishes) and lightly wet the surface with a small amount of water.
Add a drop of Fairy Liquid to the surface.
Scrubbing
Gently scrub the surface using the brush, ensuring you cover the entire area.
If needed, you can add a small amount of Cif Cream (the white bottle) to the mix. The micro-particles in Cif Cream help scrub into any indentations on the surface.
Rinsing
Use a damp sponge to remove all excess cleaner and residue.
Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water to ensure no soap or cleaner remains.
Drying
Dry the surface as much as possible with a clean cloth.
For a final touch, you can use CIF General Cleaner, HG Window Cleaner, or Windowlene to remove any remaining residue. These cleaners dry quickly and leave the surface smear-free.
